[The "peak oil" is deemed to have been reached in 2006]
According to a survey conducted by the Energy Watch Group (EWG) and published in a report in London on Monday, 22 October, oil extraction is now on a downhill path, sliding 3% a year. By 2030, companies will only be extracting 39 million barrels a day (versus 81 million today)!
